I touch 5 vr7.1 All music plays through the speakers and not the plugged in device:earbuds, Ihome, sound system Air Dock. ect

My I touch 5 is a bit over 1 year old, I was listening to it through a sound system and it froze up, It Would not play or respond so I reset and restored it, I restored it from a back up, now the battery dies fast, and will only play through the external speakers not earbuds or Ihome. It has no water damage. I live overseas and there is no apple store here. Any healp is greatly appriciated!

Try:

- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost

Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at

least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

- Reset all settings

Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.

All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.

- Restore from backup. See:

iOS: Back up and restore your iOS device with iCloud or iTunes

- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.

If still problem, make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

If no Apple store, contact an Apple Authorized Service Provider or contact a third-party repair place

I have done all these and It has not helped, the problem that I am running into is that there is no Aple store In Jamaica, and we are missionaries there. any other advice would be helpful!
