Classic Mac OSOffice 2004 and earlier don't work on 10.9.2.

To find missing applications that belonged to Mavericks without redownloading it, extract them using http://www.charlessoft.com/ Pacifist after downloading and saving the installer to a separate location from the download for Mavericks itself.
Running the 10.9.2 combo update will ensure you have the latest version

once you have extracted the software with Pacifist.
