how can I listen to my electric guitar ?, how can I listen to my electric guitar ?

I have a problem with the new Garageband 11, version 6.05 I HATE IT! - I select electric guitar input through a Stealthplug, and then wnat to hear what I'm playing, but when I try to find the Monitor - it's missing. Where has it gone? The old Garageband never did this. Please bring it back! So I now cannot hear what I'm playing for heaven's sake. How do I find the Monitor on the new version? I have checked the SOUND Prefs on the System Prefs, and also the Audioo/Midi inputs on the Garageband prefs, but still zilch. Can anyone shed a light on this?
