It seems as though people have been asking about this since ios5. When, oh when, will apple fix this glaring oversight? Perhaps there are too many glaring oversights ahead of this one in the long slow decline of a once magnificent brand???

No one here would know what Apple is going to do, however if you would like to see them add the feature, then let them know by going to the feedback page at www.apple.com/feedback and click on the appropriate link. Apple does not particpate in the forum.
Isn't it annoying that we can't mass delete them either through iOS or OS X? The only solution I could find to mass delete completed reminders is to log in through the web version of iCloud Reminders on your browser. There will be an option there to clear completed reminders.
