Multiple table of contents

Hi i am trying to create multiple table of contents with different heading styles.

I have paragraph styles for Chapter, chapter sub, chapter sub 2, chapter sub 3. This works great i can generate the TOC and apply different styles on the TOC, for example the "Chapter" style is with bold font style on the TOC.

Now, I am creating a second TOC in another section, which has paragraph styles for Appendix and Appendix sub, but when I click on the generated TOC is just selecting the whole thing instead of individual styles so I can't do the same with Appendix as did for Chapter before. When I try to set it as bold is just brings paragraph styles that aren't selected in the inspector.

Note: in the inspector for TOC 1 I have Chapters selected only and TOC 2 Appendix selected.
