apps purchased on my computer from itunes store into itunes will not transfer into ipod touch

Have you confimed that the apps you have purchased are compatible with both your model of iPod touch and the version of iOS it's running?

Yeah, you probably have an app that is compatible with iOS 7+ and if you try to copy it to a device that is running iOS 6 or below it won't work.
