Out of Office Response in Email Rules keeps sending multiple out of office responses

I have tried on multiple occassions to create a Rule in Mac Mail to respond to any email with and Out of Office response. I have 3 different emails Yahoo, Gmail and iCloud. For some reason, every time I try, it goes crazy sending ME back thousands of emails! I've just tested it, sending myself an email and it just keeps sending me out of office responses non stop. I've got maybe 20 and obviously turned it off.

An out-of-office reply should only be done on the email server. The pitfalls of trying to do it with a rule on your computer are numerous, and some of them are quite grave. If your mail sevice provider doesn't have an option for this service, then don't do it at all. Seriously.
