this does not address the issue of home sharing constantly having to be reset

I know how to set up home sharing it's pretty basic, what I do not appreciate is having to reset it every time I turn on my Apple TV, this is so embarrassing and makes a mockery of "it just works".

The article did not even address this issue yet there are hundreds of threads out there on this specific subject. Why does home sharing keep dropping out? Simple qusetion how about a simple answer and not a walk up the garden path.

Where is Home Sharing having to be setup repeatedly? On the ATV or on the comptuer?

If on the computer, post to the appropriate forum.

Home sharing only needs to be set up on the computer, on ATV it is simply a question of access to the libraries through home sharing.

Can we try to look for solutions rather than worry about which forum it should be on I am sure that people who have this issue will find it here.

If the issue is with Home Sharing disabling on the computer, the ATV forum is not the appropriate place to request assistance.

If you actually desire help, post to the appropriate forum and clearly explain the issue. Obviously something is wrong with the OS or the way Home Sharing is being enabled.
