OS X MAVERICKS Free Download shows error message "an error has occured" after downloading till about 1.6 GB and does not download any further. Can any1 pls advice

How big is your hard drive, and how full is it?
What do you presently have installed in terms of operating system?

Total Mac HD capacity is 206GB and available capacity is 43.5GB where total windows HD capacity is 43.5GB and available capacity is 36GB. Windows is installed via Bootcamp
Boot camp may be part of the problem. Since I don't use it, I'm just asking for the Mac partition, how big is that, and how full is that?
And again, are you backed up?

the error message shows again since the last 4 days, its sickening. Pls allow a direct download link. This system is pathetic. Its already over 2weeks since my attmpts but am still unable to finish my download

The errors are still everlasting and need help on how to overcome same. have done a back-up of data thru time machine as earlier suggested by u.
