Q: Secure connections

I set up a new user account on my iMac for my children.  I configured it so that they can only access Safari and a few other simple apps.  Within Safari, I have Parental Controls set up such that only certain websites that I have added to the list can be accessed by my children. One of these websites is offered by their school where they can play math games.  Although this website is listed as an approved site, when I login under their user account and launch Safari, I get the following message when trying to access this website:

Safari can't open the page because Safari can't establish a secure connection to the server.

When I try to access this math website under my own user account (I am the admin), it works no problem.  So I think something in the Parental Controls is interfering.  Any ideas on how to fix this?
