iMac, Mac OS X (10.6.8)
Note: 10.6.8 in your signature is a version of Snow Leopard.
10.8.x are Mountain Lion. Where x can be any number 1 through 5.
According to the Philips site the device should show up as a USB device if you plug in the USB cable.
If you have the device I suggest you try plugging in the USB cable and seeing if it shows up as a USB disk. If it does you can use the Finder to look around in it and find the recordings.
If Philips is nice and stores the recordings in well know format you should be able to just click on one of the audio files and play it.
If they are using some proprietary format you will need to contact Philips to see if there is any software for the Mac,
Yes, it is one of these
Does the device have a USB port? Did it come with a USB cable?
Then plug it in and see if the system sees it. As I wrote Phillips says it will act as a USB drive to the system.
If the audio files are standard then you're home free if not you have to contact Phillips but all they mention on their site is software for windows.
good luck
