May 21, 2014 7:51 PM in response to jaydiscby tkoes,I would definitely file a bug report but it appears you have to be a registered developer to do so (which I'm not). Any other suggestions to let Apple know? Apple iWork Team are you listening?

May 21, 2014 7:59 PM in response to tkoesby jaydisc,Weird. The ID I use was never tied to my dev account.
This should work too: http://www.apple.com/feedback/server.html

May 22, 2014 2:03 PM in response to wiley2770by ChristianSoul,Dang it. After reinstalling the Sharp and a restart today, it is happening again!!

May 22, 2014 2:20 PM in response to ChristianSoulby tkoes,Yeah, I have deleted and installed my Sharp copier numberous times, trying all kinds of configuations (bonjour, IPP, etc). The crash problem after opening the print dialog box remains but I've discovered this problem does not occur with the generic postscript driver when using the Sharp printer.
My Western Office tech guy has really been helpful. Sharp themselves won't talk to mere "consumers" so my tech guy is the go between. But I sent in more logs today and they continue looking for the source of the problem.

Jun 26, 2014 1:20 PM in response to wiley2770by AsaChurch,Hi All,
Nice to see that this isn't some isolated issue. We have 5 different computers in our office, all bought in early January 2014 with the newest updates, OS, etc.
Our company has the JointVenture package and I've been on the phone with iWorks specialists about this issue multiple times and we've had no resolve. This is the first time I am hearing of someone having an issue similar to this and... of course, we use Sharp printers as well. Our experience is that every time we attempt print, we get a "trouble" pop-up for the Sharp (see picture), but it prints nevertheless - this is bothersome, but not necessarily productivity impacting since it goes away on its own. The problem comes, as many of you have experienced, when we want to close or save the Pages document - the application freezes and we are forced to "Force Quit" it.
We are also bouncing around an idea in the office that it may have something to do with the Time Capsule and the Airport we have in the office (the Time Capsule flashes orange more often than we think is normal). Does anyone else in this forum have these two pieces and would know if they can impact Pages in this way?

Oct 1, 2014 5:49 AM in response to wiley2770by BradMcfo,Same issue here with pages 5.2.2. on Mavericks 10.9.4.
Pages needs to be force quit after attempting to close a document or quit. Two different models of sharp printers installed and the issue occurs on many different computers in our office. Has anyone found a solution or work around, other than constantly force quitting?

Oct 1, 2014 3:25 PM in response to BradMcfoby tkoes,Our problem seems to be isolated to not just Pages and the Sharp printer/copier, but more specifically to the Pages "Red" button when attempting to close a window after opening the print dialog box.
After printing (or simply opening the print dialog window) I can indeed quit Pages if I do not close the document window first but instead quit the program from the file menu. Does anyone else have this experience? So our work around right now is to quit the program after printing and then reopen. Then you can use the little 'red button' to your hearts content
