My automator app keeps reloading the same swf file.

In my classrom, I want students to be able to open a flash lesson using automator. I've made an automator app to do this using the Get Value of Variable and Open finder Items commands. The problem I encounter is that the flash file loads and reloads without stopping. I am using the Get Value of Variable because it is a file and not a URL. I am using a text variable because I can write one file path starting at the root level which will work for all the client machines. I am using Open Finder Items because it lets me specify Safari as the application. I have other browsers on the clients which can interfere with other commands such as open webpages. Any suggestions?
