Is OSX 10.6 compatable with Aperture 2?

I currently run 10.4 on an older Intel iMac and need to upgrade to 10.6. However, I have software such as Aperture 2 and Microsoft Office that I would rather not have to replace.

Yes Aperture 2 will run fine on 10.6

You should be good with all your software .10.6 was the last OS that was fully backwards compatible with the old PPC Macs

Aperture 2.1.4 or newer and Microsoft Office are compatible with 10.6.
