What is the best and most functional graphics card for a Mac Pro 3,1 (2008) running mavericks with SSD boot drive and dual monitors. Note, don't need it for gaming. Want to do video editing in FCX (not 4K) 1080 hd from DSLR. Thanks.

Try the ATI 5770 or 5870 cards. Look on Amazon or eBay for them. Be sure to only get the Mac version of the card.
