Web page does not display full screen

Stange thing--one particular web page has stopped displaying on the full screen. Instead, it first shows normally, then quickly goes to a compressed version against the left side of the screen, with much blank area. It does this in both landscape and portrait modes. Up till yesterday, everything was normal. I put a link to the web page on my desktop, and this too, is compressed. It only fills part of the thumbnail.

The web page in question is not a weird one. It's the National Weather Service. The home page is fine, but when I go to forecast, I get the strange behavior. I am not having this problem on any other website.

I am using an iPad Air with iOS 7.1. On my iPad2 with 4.3.2, the web site works fine.

Any suggestions would be appreciated!

It isn't you, the website does the same thing on my iPad running iOS 7.1. I cleared cookies and data in Safari and in iCab mobile and it's the same in both browsers. It must be the way the site renders in iOS 7.1.

That's odd. I cleared History, cookies and data in Safari AND in iCab Mobile I get the same results as the OP. Are you entering the zip code or your city in the left side to get your local forecast? The is what the OP. Is asking about, not the main web site - the local forecast site.
