Apr 4, 2014 6:11 AM in response to jamieclarkeby sheila_m.,Hello Jamie,
Thank you for the details of the issue you are experiencing with your new Bluetooth headphones. It can certainly get frustrating if the audio gets out of sync when using the headphones.
I recommend reviewing the sections titled "Resolution" and "Bluetooth disconnects, intermittent connectivity, or unable to find" in the following article for steps to troubleshoot the issue you described:

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.

Apr 4, 2014 9:13 AM in response to sheila_m.by jamieclarke,Thanks for the advice Sheila. Unfortunately this did not help. I can connect no problem and I am sitting right next to the ipad but audio is still behind the video. There is no breakup or loss of signal.

Sep 23, 2014 7:14 PM in response to Atlas77by DP0350,I have the same problem with a new pair of Beats Studio wireless headphones. the audio lag is almost 2 seconds at times, even the clicks while typing are delayed 2 seconds. I would love to know if this can be fixed by ditching beats all together.

Sep 25, 2014 12:38 PM in response to jamieclarkeby andré188,Guys, i asked beats support about this problem we’re facing and i just can’t believe their answer...they said the problem isn’t with the product, but there’re compatibility issues. Well, if it isn’t compatible with my macbook air, ipad and iphone, I don’t know wich produt it is compatible with. I’ll never buy another beats product again, and i regret terribly buying it. I had to buy a Sony headphone, and i have nothing to complain about it. Everyday i check if there’s an update with beats updater, but nothing so far...

Sep 25, 2014 2:12 PM in response to andré188by Atlas77,its a shame, the sound quality of the beats is great, but the lag is reddik, i gave up trying to find a fix as there isnt one. Returned the beats got platronics go2 for a quareter of the price, sound not as good, battery life not as good, fit not as good but no lag what soever. Maybe the next version powerbeats will be lagless

Sep 25, 2014 5:44 PM in response to andré188by DP0350,Beats customer service is absolutely terrible. I called twice and they were less than helpful. They said there was an update which would fix it but as you said there is no update. I'm glad I still have time to return these before the return period is up. this is clearly a pretty major problem.

Oct 2, 2014 2:03 AM in response to jamieclarkeby beniospit,Hi
I've the same issue as you guys - I bought a pair of Wireless Beats... awesome sound but when I watch a movie, the audio is slightly out of synch with the video which is really disturbing to say the least. I don't think the issue is the headphones, it could be due to the Bluetooth version (currently 4.0) in the iPhone and iPad (currently own an iPad air) so it seems likely to be a software issue.
I recently asked a friend to pair my bluetooth headphones with his Blackberry mobile and to my surprise there were no issues at all, the audio and video completely worked together, no lag.
After this test we can conclude there's nothing wrong with these Headphones and I'd like Apple support to try out and test and see the results themselves on other mobiles - perhaps there's a software update in the pipeline?
Thanks.

Oct 2, 2014 1:12 PM in response to jamieclarkeby andré188,I just noticed another problem...i dont know if this is happening with you guys, but after updating my iPhone 5 to IOS 8.0.2 , the Beats Audio Wireless 2 connects the bluetooth, i hear the sound that it makes when connecting, but that's pretty much all. I can't hear anything else. I'm extremely frustrated....

Oct 11, 2014 1:31 AM in response to jamieclarkeby jamieclarke,I Was hoping that iOS 8 would solve this problem but unfortunately it hasn't. I think the issue is a result of the Bluetooth versin of the headphones and the apps not accounting for a delay. I say this because I also have the same issue using my sons nexus 7 but only on certain apps. Also, if I connect my iPad or iPhone to my Bluetooth 4 speaker there is no delay with the same apps which have delay with the headphones. this is an infuriating problem and considering the sky high price of these headphones, the support is very poor from beats who have basically told me tough luck. ironically, apple now owns beats but support is still non existent!

Oct 15, 2014 1:29 AM in response to jamieclarkeby bearwocc,Ive just spoken with tech support and she was very nice but said the bluetooth powerbeats 2 were aimed at people in the gym listening to music. I said £170 earphones should be in sync with videos. She claims they are looking into and theyll be a fix soon. What a Joke. Come on Apple sort it now
