Problem with video audio sync using Bluetooth headphones

I have recently bought a pair of beats studio wireless headphones but when using my ipad there are sync issues with video and audio. Many apps have the problem but sky go seems to be the worst followed by YouTube. Apple video is not too bad but not perfect.

You're absolutely right and it is time for an escalation concerning support here. When the new iPhone arrives, also iOS 10 will be released so this version should finally remove the delay - especially for Apple items like the Powerbeats 2 Wireless. But somehow I don't believe in it.

No new firmware for the Powerbeats for months now. Website and Betas Updater show 1.1.11 as latest version ("Your software is up to date").

seems to be when youre using ANY Bluetooth headset to listen to a film or video, theyre out of sync. I wonder whether its down to the device processing the sound at a different speed to the image - however the sound should be faster if anything and its not, its delayed! Quite basic really, I'd have thought Apple would have this resolved by now!

Hey guys had a similar issue with my betas wireless headphones with ALL apps but particularly movies, music and when texting. May I suggest you go to the beats home page http://www.beatsbydre.com/home?emailheader=on and on the bottom of the page under support it says update my beats. Install the software and follow the prompts to updtae yours. Just updated mine to the latest version and it fixed all my issues. Sorry if it has been suggested previously.

I managed to fix the problem. It's not foolproof, but it works for me. When playing a YouTube video and there is lag, simply press the home button to get out to the main screen. You will hear the audio stutter to a stop after the main screen appears. Wait for a while, then tap on the YouTube app to return to the video. Hit play and the audio now syncs. You may need to try it a few times. Again, not foolproof, but works for me.
