Feb 27, 2015 6:22 PM in response to sheila_m.by drewcifergomez,Nothing seems to fix the problem. There is also a major delay in phone conversations. Is this just a know bug for this device? I would think that a $200 wireless headset would work perfectly fine, especially when the device is no more that 3 to 4 feet away from it.

Feb 27, 2015 10:37 PM in response to drewcifergomezby jamieclarke,Have you updated the firmware on your headphones by downloading the beats updater and connecting them to your computer? Since the firmware update, I've had no issues.

Apr 16, 2015 2:15 PM in response to jamieclarkeby Ray Milyard,I picked up some PowerBeats 2 wireless the other day for my iPhone 6 Plus. I have them paired with no issues. Both iPhone and Beats are upto date with software. I keep having sound cut outs when I do for my walks. I have iPhone in my pants from pocket so should be fine however it get cut outs. They are fast. Sometimes one right after another and other times they wait 20-30 secs. All I know is this is bad for a $200 headset. Thinking will return them if not answers to the issue.

Apr 28, 2015 11:29 PM in response to jamieclarkeby Carlottij,Just bought a brand new iPad Mini 2, updated to 8.3 and a Beats Studio Wireless headset around December, but updated firmware tonight.
Lag is at 1 second when using the keyboard in Safari. Audio/video sync isn't too bad depending on the scene.
On my android devices and PS Vita, the sync is not an issue and everything is at 100%. It is only iOS that I am having trouble with.
I have an appointment with a local Apple Care, but I think I will be returning the Mini. Returning the headset is not possible to Best Buy anymore and since it works fine on my main mobile devices, no sense in keeping a mini if it can't handle the headset.

Apr 30, 2015 7:53 PM in response to jamieclarkeby henriquefmorita,HI guys, just bought the HARMAN KARDON BT headphones here in Brazil and they worked great with android 5 Lollipop in an LG G3. But in my iPad Air iOS 8 they do have quite a lot of delay between audio and video. I am very disapointed with Apple. Waiting for a solution here...

May 15, 2015 11:02 AM in response to jamieclarkeby Equatorian,Hey guys,
So this is great for my powerbeats2's but I still have 2 pair of studios wireless that are having the bt lag and there are NO updates and nobody at apple or beats can offer any assistance. Did they just turn their backs on these?
thanks!

May 25, 2015 11:16 AM in response to Equatorianby JYarbs,My Beats Studio Wireless headphones have this same issue, both on OS X and iOS. The headphohe's and my devices are all running the most recent software.
Apple, please address this. Thipere shouldn't be lag with $300 headphones... The bluetooth feature is virtually worthless right now.

Jun 12, 2015 2:39 AM in response to jamieclarkeby Deano14,Can I ask the question in a different way that might shed some light on where the problem actually is;
Has anybody got a set of bluetooth headphones that DOESN'T have a audio lag? If there is a lag on all bluetooth headsets, chances are it's a software / phone issue.
If it's across all phones / headsets, it's a imitation of bluetooth..

Jun 16, 2015 7:44 AM in response to jamieclarkeby w3dk,I have the same problem with my iPad Air 2 iOS 8.3 and my G-Cube (BH-860R) bluetooth headphones. A very noticeable and annoying delay. Typing on the on screen keyboard is just weird! However, when connected to my little Sonivo bluetooth speaker the delay is hardly noticeable - there is still a very slight delay but is perfectly usable.
Never noticed this on Android.

Jun 16, 2015 7:50 AM in response to jamieclarkeby Deano14,I might be imagining it, but after turning off keyboard clicks it seems that the lag is much better. I don't think it's perfect, but it does seem to be better than it was. Could someone else give this a try and see if they get a result?

Jun 26, 2015 12:03 PM in response to rubenv84by Nighthawk74,Just to put this out there, And if this is said at some point before this I apologize as I did not want to sit and read 116 replies, but I don't blame my powerbeats 2 at all, my firmware is up to date and it still lags, but its not just the powerbeats that do this, ANY video I try to play with audio over BT lags a bit...for example I was sitting in my car waiting for my wife to finish with some errands and I was playing NETFLIX from my phone over the bluetooth audio in my car and there was a lag there, when I used a coupld of different BT audio headphones from other companies as well as my sons beats solo wireless over my MAC there was LAG......all in all I don't think it has anything to do with BEATS, I think its the simple fact that its BT and its a simple 2 way low power frequency that has pretty much always been designed for music and hands free conversation, not video/audio that is meant to be played at a higher fidelity....at least that my 2 cents.

Well, if you turn off the "keyboard clicks" (ie. the audio) then there is no audio-to-lag?! The keyboard itself doesn't lag; it's just the audio. So, I'm not sure what you're trying to say there?

Jul 7, 2015 9:30 AM in response to w3dkby Deano14,Turning off the keyboard click noise seems to improve audio lag in general. Seems to me that generating the click noise slows down sound processing. I'm using a 5S. This might be paycological as the lag between pressing the button and hearing the click is obvoius.
After turning off keyboard clicks, the video playback to sound lag seems much better.
