Feb 11, 2016 9:32 PM in response to SBenji.Bruno18by woodstocknick,Some headphones are better at this than others. Bluetooth audio has to be compressed to be transmitted, then decompresssed by the headphone circuitry. there will always be a lag with video because of this. Anything under about 100ms and you won't notice.
My JBL Everest Elite 700s have no noticeable lag, but a pair of Sennheisers do.
Contact the headphone manufacturer and ask if there's a firmware update.

Feb 12, 2016 1:53 AM in response to woodstocknickby mondo21,Hi Guys,
I have the same issue on sound intone nk850 Bluetooth Headset. IOS 9 Latest firmware. On android phone everything is perfect..To me it seems that IOS uses airplay rather than true Bluetooth to send the audio and we all know airplay has always had audio/video sync issues. It could also be a ploy to make you buy the latest Beats headset with latest firmware because their firmware compensates for the airplay delay..If apple just used plain old Bluetooth we wouldn't have the issue..also as stated by other users suffering from this,it's unlikely that non BEAT headset manufacturers know that their is any issue because their headesets work fine when bluetoothing audio....I can't find any where to get firmware for my nk850...The way apple are paranoid about locking down anything that streams unless it uses it's airplay is the reason....
Ray.

Feb 18, 2016 3:02 AM in response to mmm1_1by cjbiom,As a work around to this issue does anyone know any apps for playing videos where you can alter the delay on the audio to get it in line?

Feb 25, 2016 6:02 PM in response to jamieclarkeby Juniper 555,I have read this thread from the top. I bought a pair or PowerBeats 2 in December and was surprised to notice the lag when watching videos.
I am told on their site, that my firmware is the latest - 1.1.12. Please would someone confirm this, as I saw a post earlier saying that the firmware was up to 1.2.*.
Dr Dre must be laughing all the way to the bank. Apple have bought a lemon.

Mar 5, 2016 12:12 PM in response to SBenji.Bruno18by alanm210,There is a fix. I just did it and it works great. I had to use a pc to do the firmware update. But I can watch videos on my Mac just fine now. There is now no audio delay with my JBL Everest 100 bluetooth headphones!
Go to JBL.com.
Search for Everest 100. Or click this link if it still works: http://www.jbl.com/bluetooth-headphones/EVEREST+100.html
Scroll down to the features section. Expand the Manuals & Downloads section.
Download the HID Software.
You'll need to use a PC or Windows on your Mac and run it. Follow the on-screen instructions.

Apr 7, 2016 10:15 PM in response to alanm210by Applesauce McGee,^^^Wonderful! This works great! I bought these JBL buds for the sole purpose of watching stuff on apple tv, and was super disappointed when i connected them. Thought i wasted $99. Now there's practically no latency (unless you REALLY try to notice it).
And as far as the "nature of bluetooth" reasoning some people are suggesting, i don't buy it because before i bought these expensive JBL earbuds, i had a cheap pair of "Jam Transit" earbuds (cheapest bluetooth headphones at best buy) and they worked great with practically NO latency. Only problem is the left earbud started to get quieter than the right one to the point where it was a little bit distracting.
But if you are looking for a pair of cheap, low-latency earbuds, I'd recommend the Jam Transit Mini's ($40 at best buy). No guarantee that the volume will be equal on both buds, but still good enough.

Apr 10, 2016 3:39 AM in response to jamieclarkeby mynameisearl28,I recently have been having problems with watching facebook videos on my phone while my Beat pill is synced to it. The video just seems to load constantly. But as soon as I switch the from Beats pill to iphone the video loads perfectly. I never used to have this issue before. Does it have to do with the recent update to software?

Apr 22, 2016 7:42 AM in response to jamieclarkeby robert_t_l,What's going to happen if and when Apple removes the headphone jack from new iPhone's?? Removing that option also removes the ONLY workaround to watch a movies without an audio delay on iOS devices.

May 3, 2016 5:59 AM in response to jamieclarkeby FerrolDawg,I had the same lag issue. I've tried a couple things.
One thing, I had several bluetooth devices paired so I unpaired all of them and re-paired my headphones. That appears to work.
Now that's a hassle, so what I think may be the issue is that some of my bluetooth devices were too far away and all three trying to speak at the same time may have caused some interference. If I'm completely out of range of my bluetooth keyboard and trackpad, I haven't had any issue with the headphones. When I'm near them, but not terribly close, I get interference.
So the trick may be to disconnect the devices if not using them and see if that helps the headphone issue.

May 3, 2016 6:08 AM in response to FerrolDawgby robert_t_l,Thanks I'll give that a try but I only use Bluetooth in my car and it's the only device. But it's worth trying!

May 14, 2016 5:32 PM in response to sheila_m.by stretch-4,Apple seems to have caused a problem in their upgrade to the Bluetooth audio interface. Across many different products interfacing with iPads and iPhones with the latest updates all have a delay between video on the iPad and iPhone and the audio received on the various Bluetooth headphones. Apple needs to implement a calibration routine to zero out the delay as perceived by the user of the audio appliances. Sheila_m - all of your suggestions link to sites that do not solve the problem for the various people writing in. Please consult some additional help and provide a solution in this stream. You are not really answering the mail here. V/R.

Jun 14, 2016 10:58 PM in response to robert_t_lby Argentinos,You're absolutely right and it is time for an escalation concerning support here. When the new iPhone arrives, also iOS 10 will be released so this version should finally remove the delay - especially for Apple items like the Powerbeats 2 Wireless. But somehow I don't believe in it.
No new firmware for the Powerbeats for months now. Website and Betas Updater show 1.1.11 as latest version ("Your software is up to date").

Jul 5, 2016 4:34 AM in response to jamieclarkeby nigeyp, seems to be when youre using ANY Bluetooth headset to listen to a film or video, theyre out of sync. I wonder whether its down to the device processing the sound at a different speed to the image - however the sound should be faster if anything and its not, its delayed! Quite basic really, I'd have thought Apple would have this resolved by now!
