Dec 12, 2014 8:17 AM in response to losdelrockby clifton_icloud,Hi @losdelrock, how old is your MBP? Mine is mid 2014 and runs fine since the latest Yosemite update. There was an issue beforehand. For most it seems limited to iOS but despite the audio lag for video my range, quality etc has been great.
On a separate note, hats off to Amazon who have taken my Powerbeats 2 back with a full refund despite them being outside the standard replacement window. Beats have acknowledged an issue with them, although without full disclosure. I suggest anyone who has these headphones to return them ASAP.

Dec 14, 2014 2:45 PM in response to clifton_icloudby npb1967,I am glad I found this post before I wasted my time buying a paid of $350 bluetooth headphones that do not sync with video. If Apple does not resolve the issue very soon, then I am going to purchase one of the other brands folks have mentioned on this thread that do not have the video sync issues.

Dec 15, 2014 11:19 PM in response to jamieclarkeby JT-4rmHTX,I bought my Powerbeats 2 on Friday, Dec. 12. I, like others, have/had, the same issue until today. for the last couple of days I've been checking on any updates from the Beats Updater. today i installed an update to v1.1.11 and this has seemed to fix the video to audio sync issues. I've tested it with YouTube, ProTube, and video, and music videos on my iPhone 6plus 8.1.2
hope this update helps everyone!!!!

Dec 16, 2014 2:24 PM in response to JT-4rmHTXby Thefaultinmyphone,Downloaded the new Beats Updater software and installed v1.1.11.
I have an iPhone 6 Plus 8.1.2 and it has indeed fixed the problem with videos (I mainly use the YT app)
I'm not entirely sure it's 100% on synch but it's close to it.Concerning apps like Notes or the various iOS games I have, a slight lag is still noticeable (but nowhere near the 6 or 7 seconds I used to experience).
I hope this update helps everyone solve their problems!
Thanks to Apple and Beats (even if there shouldn't have been a problem in the first place). I might not return my Powerbeats 2 Wireless after all...

Dec 17, 2014 4:50 AM in response to Thefaultinmyphoneby iTex69,Hi everyone.
First of all, I want to thank you all for your feed back.
The last update resolve the sync issue. I am testing it with a pair of Studio Wireless 2014 and it work perfectly.
The sound is awesome. Movies in Infuse and videos in Protube as well.
I am so happy guys.

Dec 17, 2014 12:07 PM in response to iTex69by RMSko,While this resolves the issue for Beats headphones, I'm still having this issue with my Jabra Rox. There needs to be a fix on the Apple end of things!

Dec 17, 2014 4:08 PM in response to jamieclarkeby Kaziah,Sync issue solved! I had heard that there was audio lag with video playback, but didn't think it would be that bad. Wrong. Pretty much makes a fast paced video unwatchable. I also noticed that phone calls had a bit more lag. I spotted posts referencing new firmware so checked it out the Beats site (had to actually use Google to find the firmware update on the Beats site). http://www.beatsbydre.com/support/updater.html
Installed update 1.1.11 and audio sync is pretty much right on. Verified on iPhone 6, iPad and MB Air.

Dec 19, 2014 6:40 AM in response to Kaziahby Pat00057,Thanks to all ! I bought the Beats a couple of weeks ago and had all the sync issues - then read this thread and was a) happy to see I was not alone with this issue and b) that there was a solution: and indeed, updating the firmware solved the issue completely on iPad, iPhone, MBP, MBAir.
Glad to have joined the community !

Dec 25, 2014 10:13 AM in response to jamieclarkeby Bazmanian,Just received the PowerBeats 2 Wireless for a Christmas gift. Noticed the same audio sync issue when viewing video. Firmware update 1.1.11 (https://www.beatsbydre.com/support/updater.html) solved the issue for me as well. Thank you Beats for a fix in time for Christmas! Also looking very forward to listening to music and working out unencumbered at the gym. Sound quality is incredible. Very Happy.

Dec 25, 2014 3:51 PM in response to Bazmanianby John72980,
I have two bluetooth speakers, both HMDX, but different models. The smaller one delays about 1/2 second, unusable. The larger one delays only about 1/16 of a second and is usable. I suggest that it is the Blutooth devices that are causing the delay and its nothing to do with Windows. -

Dec 27, 2014 11:36 AM in response to SupplyTheHypeby Kaigra,I came across this thread after finding a noticable delay on my beats studio wireless headphones and used the beats updater and found that my headphones are up to date with version 1.2.12, but still have a delay.
Does anyone else have a similar situation?
-
Dec 28, 2014 2:37 PM in response to Kaigraby searssd1,Yes. I have the same problem. Audio/video out of sync. Updater says Beats Studio Wireless phones are up to date. Returning them tomorrow. Really surprised Apple / Beats would fail like this.

Dec 29, 2014 12:37 PM in response to searssd1by noelrr,Same problem with my Beats Studio Wireless. Super frustrating, especially seeing that they have apparently fixed the problem with other Beats products.

Dec 30, 2014 9:45 AM in response to jamieclarkeby Joredhead,I had an issue with my Powerbeats 2 and was extremely upset. After all, they had just been released! How could APPLE!!! of all companies do that?
I saw all of the posts regarding the audio/video not in sync and I posted as well. I called also but the answers I received were ridiculous. One of the reps said that Apple was aware of the issue (how could they NOT be after thousands of posts) and would correct it. They finally did. I would be a little patient, they will correct it rather quickly. I get emails on these feeds and that is how I found out there was a new update.
Good luck!
