applescript to find work in doc and replace it

Hello,

Anyone help me with an applescript that will find a word, say, "portfolio", inside a text wrangler document and replace every instance of it with a specifiied word. So there would need to be a dialogue box prompt asking for the specified word to replace with. Not sure how to prompt a script. Im guessing this is probably and easy script to write ... anyone willing to help. It would be even better if the script prompted you for the word to look for AND the word to replace it with, but I would do for either. Thanks!

Are you asking if you can replace every instance of a word with TextWrangler itself or with a acript?

Either one is possible but doing it directly in TextWrangler will be easier and quicker if you are only doing one or a few files.

If it is an ongoing think and you have many files it might be worth scripting.

In TextWrangler look under the Search menu for all the find and replace commands.
