features greyed out Remote desktop 3.7.2

Hiya,

I just bought Remote desktop 3 today. I would like to use it on a mac mini that will be shipped off to a client. The features I would use most though are greyed out. I can send messages and reboot it remotely and I can observe the desktop, but I can't control it remotely or use the curtain feature. I have tried adjusting differenct settings (allowing non-admin users te remotely acces...) to no avail.

Any ideas are very welcome.
