I've trired a few sugesstions that was mentioed here including my last reseort, trying to shak it out, to no avail.

Well everything from what is in Ogelthorp's reply, going to disk utility and attempting to locate the file & eject from there(It wasn't even successful locating a single file) and my fourth attempt failed to open disk utility all together with the icon just sitting there..
Pressing down the physical eject button,
Attempted to eject disk from itunes,
Rebooting & restarting(to include holing down the power button, repeatedly,
Anymore sugesstions anyone?
When that happened to me, I tried all the above suggestions with no success. I then took it to the Genius Bar--they could not get the disc to eject either. Many tried, but all were unsuccessful. It was finally determined that the disc drive was dead and needed to be replaced. I suggest a trip to the Genius Bar.
Dead disk drive??? I've only used it maybe 23 times! sigh

I absolutely cannot get a cd to eject.
