How do I enable multitrack recording in Garageband version 10.0.2?

I'm trying to record from a microphone that is connected to an Alesis iO2 Express which is connected to my computer via USB, while also using a USB keyboard to record onto a software instrument (piano). Is there a way to do both at once? I can't find the multitrack recording option anywhere. Any help is greatly appreciated!
