My sons iPhone was stolen
My sons iPhone was stolen from school I contacted ATT had them disable data then found out I couldn't track it anymore so renabled this morning. Did this allow them to unlock an disable the find my iPhone app.

Because the device is not in front of you, it is hard to say why you cannot find it. But some of the reasons would be the date and time is incorrect, location services may be turned off, or his iPhone may be powered off and not connected to the internet.
