mirrored RAID set using 8 drives, 4 from both LaCie big5s.

I would like to make a mirrored RAID set using 8 drives, 4 for each of the two big5s. 4 disks striped that mirror each other.

Every time I try to do this It fails. Is it possible?

Here is what I have been using: two striped sets, mirrored to eachother (RAID 10)

It is basicaly the same thing, just using two boxes vs one. The error I get from LaCie RAID monitor is:

Other times it will say that this RAID can't be created because it needs an unmounted disk.
