Apple TV YouTube app "Top Rated" & "Most Viewed"

I have a 3rd generation Apple TV with up-to-date OS. I previuosly had a 1st generation Apple TV purchased on release date.

I have used the YouTube app for years. Note... I do not log in to the YouTube app with an account.

Recently (say, within the last 6 months) the behavior of the YouTube app has changed.

Originally the lists of videos in Top Rated and Most Viewed (by Today, This Weeek and All Time) were very dynamic. The lists would change on a daily/weekly basis, and TR and MV would present diffent lists.

Now, Top Rated and Most Viewed list identical videos. The movies for Today and This Week are identical in both TR and MV.

Restarting Apple TV makes no difference.

Has anyone else noticed this behavior and is there a fix?
