Ok so I have seen IOS 8 on youtube and it looks pretty cool and I really wan't to have the beta version on my iPod, but I don't know if thats possible. I have seen links to download the beta but then other websites say that those are fake and you need to have an Apple developer account to get beta so yeah thats pretty much it.

Are you a developer? No? Then why do you think you should get a beta of iOS 8....... Assuming any such thing exist.
If you've seen anything purporting to be iOS 8, it's almost certainly a fake. Apple has not announced any new betas of iOS, even to developers, so no one would have access to any such a version to make a video of it.
When Apple does release any new beta, of any version, you will have to be a registered, paid member of their iOS Developer Program to get the beta legally.
