cataloguing and print a list my folders and files.

hi,

I am looking for a (free) way to make a printable list of files from many folders. Hopefully W/O having to go in to each folder and also record the folder they are in.

So I can make a tracklist of my Large audio, word and pdf collection.

Download the free TextWrangler and drag the enclosing folder into it. Alternatively, open the AppleScript Editor in the /Applications/Utilities/ folder, paste the following in:

do shell script "ls -AR " & quoted form of POSIX path of ((choose folder) as alias) & " >> ~/Desktop/inventory.txt"

and run it as is.
