Kyocera: very slow printer

have the Kyocera 1020D, increased memory but it's printing VERY slowly.

Emailed Kyocera and they want me to call them ... to a "value added telephone line" (commonly called sexline), and not particularly interested.

Anyone has any idea what the cause could be and how to remedy it?

I suggest you go to there web site and have a look and see if they offer any new up to date drivers for your Kyocera 1020D. Many over the years improve the performance of there products by updating the drivers they offer for there products. If they don't you may have to resort to a 3rd party or open source software update. Here is one that many Mac users have used over the years.

I hope this helps to solve your issue.
