iCloud spam filtering doesn't do anything

Hey all,

so I keep moving messages to the Junk folder on iOS 7.1 on my iPhone 5C, but I just keep getting spam from the same senders in my inbox day after day. How can I make iCloud mail actually filter spam and automatically send it to the junk folder instead of my inbox?

Thanks!

iPhone 5c, iOS 7.1

So then it seems that iCloud does not in fact have any sort of mechanism for learning spam when I flag it and then preventing messages from the same sender from entering my inbox.

That being the case, what the heck is the point of the "move to junk" folder option? It does literally nothing useful, apparently. It's frustrating that Mail.app on OSX does such a good job of filtering spam, but Mail on iOS does absolutely nothing whatsoever.
