Numbers 3.2 text align shortcut removed?

Thanks for pointing that out. The Help > Keyboard Shortcuts hasn't been updated to show the reassignment of that shortcut.

I couldn't find a built-in shortcut for align left and right. You'll note that in the menu when you go to Format > Text you will see no shortcut for, say, Align Right.

But you can easily assign your own keyboard shortcut in System > Preferences > Keyboard > Shortcuts > App Shortcuts:

To add Align Left, click the +, choose Numbers in the Application dropdown, and fill in your desired shortcut:

You may have to experiment to find shortcuts that will work on your machine (i.e. won't conflict with existing shortcuts). On my machine control-command-[ and control-command-] work for alignment.

After you've assigned the shortcuts you'll see them in the menu.

It appears they commandeered some shortcuts. The menu items for aligning text do not have shortcuts attached to them now. I assume they used to but I never used them. There are four new menu items under the Window menu for navigating between sheets (at least I assume they are new, I don't remember them from before). That is where your shortcut went. You can uses System Preferences to assign shortcuts to menu items. You can assign the one you were using to Left Justify and assign something else to the navigation item.

I just noticed the removal of the keyboard shortcuts for alignment. Why?!

Again, they reassigned them to other functions. No one here can answer why they didn't leave them alone and come up with new shortcuts for the new items.
