Error 1402

I just got my IPod Nano and can't load Itunes at all! I get the following error:

Error 1402.Could not open key:
HKEY LOCALMACHINE\Software\Classes\.cdda\OpenWithProgids. Verify that you have sufficient access to that key, or contact your support personnel.

HELP!

OK are you the only user of the PC, or are there other User accounts on it?

Goto "My Computer" rightclick the drive Windows is on (Usually C Drive) hit properties>tools tab. Under "Error Checking" hit check now, in the pop up window CHECK "Auto fix operatating system files" hit OK, next pop up just hit "Yes" and reboot

HI I have the Same Type of message! Everything worked fine till I restored the Sony Vaio. I thought my brother could just reload itunes but no this had to happen! P4 Processor I tunes will not open give me error report, and Windows looks for this file!

Its SAYS :

C:\DOCUME~1\RAYMON~1\LOCALS~1\TEMP\9DLBF_APPCOMPAT.TXT

Try going to sony.com and installing ALL updates they offer for your model. Some PCs have issues with iTUnes after doing a restore and the PC maker will offer a patch/update if your model is affected usually
