May 9, 2014 2:29 PM in response to JohnnyZecaby Josh Noob,I'm in the same boat why can't I use my touch id instead of typing in a stupid password, I hate passcodes! I get in and out of my phone 100 times a day I'm not going to waste .5 seconds every time just to unlock my phone.

If you're using Touch ID, it takes no longer to unlock your phone than it does to pick it up. That's the whole point. It certainl doesn't take 5 seconds. Of course, it also doesn't take 5 seconds for me to enter a 4 digit passcode.
Best of luck.
