Ipad will not receive images on messages.

I have my macbook pro, ipad, and iphone all linked together on messages. When people send me texts, i can see them and reply no problem on all three devices. However, when images are sent, I only see them on my Macbook Pro and Iphone. I do not see them on my Ipad. When i open a new message thread with myself, i can write text and see it on all devices, but again, when i try to send a picture, it only says undelivered, yet shows up on my mac (just not my ipad).

Does anyone have any idea what is going on? I have checked the preferences on all the devices and they are identical.
