HI. im trying to download Fl studio and it keeps telling me dos mode wont allow me to help please

First off, Fl studio will not work on any Mac labelled iBook. The last iBook was new in early 2006.

It requires a minimum of Mac OS X 10.8, which requires a Mac from this series:

iMac (Mid 2007 or newer)
MacBook (Late 2008 Aluminum, or Early 2009 or newer)
MacBook Pro (Mid/Late 2007 or newer)
Xserve (Early 2009)
MacBook Air (Late 2008 or newer)
Mac mini (Early 2009 or newer)
Mac Pro (Early 2008 or newer)

Secondly DOS mode, if you mean with RealPC, VirtualPC, or other available Windows emulator can barely run XP, as this tip explains:

Given Microsoft's free patch support system for XP is about to expire in a couple days, I wouldn't even bother trying to use XP, and get a newer Mac that supports at least Vista in virtualization if not Windows 7, if you want to use the Windows version of the software.
