What os should I install on a macbook 4 with 4go ram and ssd drive?

I recently bought a macbook on ebay which had no hardrive, so I bought a 120 go ssd drive. I was wondering what os I should install on my mac. It has to run smoothly and it must be compatible with logic 9. I also have 4 go of ram. Thank you!
