My iPod touch won't connect to wifi?

I recently got an iPod touch 5th gen, and at first everything worked fine. Randomly, it stopped connecting to my home wifi network. Other devices (my brothers phone, my tablet) connect to it fine, but with my iPod it says it's connected and I have 3 bars of wifi, but Safari won't load any websites, none of my social media apps work, and it acts as if it has no wifi connection. It works perfectly fine at other wifi networks (I've tried it at school and at some public wifi locations), but it won't use my home wifi. I've tried turning the wifi off and back on, restarting my iPod (holding down power+home buttons), resetting network connections, tapping "forget this network" and joining it again, making sure that I am on the latest update of iOS, and nothing seems to work. I've tried setting the HTTP PROXY to "Atuo" because I read somewhere that it solves the problem, but everything is the same. I connect to the wifi and it works fine for like 1 minute, and then it just stops working. I don't get any error message or anything either. I don't think it's my router because like I said, all the other wireless devices in my house are able to connect just fine. If anyone could help me with this, that would be greatly appreciated. Thanks 🙂

Does the iOS device connect to other networks?

Does the iOS device see the network?

Any error messages?

Do other devices now connect?

Did the iOS device connect before?

Try the following to rule out a software problem:

- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost

Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at

least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

- Power off and then back on your router

.- Reset network settings: Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings

- iOS: Troubleshooting Wi-Fi networks and connections

- Wi-Fi: Unable to connect to an 802.11n Wi-Fi network

- iOS: Recommended settings for Wi-Fi routers and access points

- Restore from backup. See:

iOS: How to back up

- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.

If still problem and it does not connect to any networks make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.
