Can you have multiple partitions on an OS X recovery drive?
Just following the instructions for creating an OS X bootable install disk.
Specifies you can only have one partition.
Is this true? Has anyone tried multiple?

The recovery must be on one partition with nothing else on it; you can have others if the disk/thumb drive is large enough.
Sorry to be pedantic, but have you tried recovery from a disk or flash drive with multiple partitions?
The fact that there is a specific note in the instructions that specifies exactly one partition worries me.
Yes I have just to test; however, I much prefer bootable clones of my system so that is what I normally use.
