When I connect my Iphone 4S IOS 7.1 to my 2014 Dodger Charger with Uconnect Bluetooth

After the connection it always starts to play music. Also my Iphone no longer uses its internal speaker for anything.

all sounds go thru the bluetooth connection. If I choose another source in the car for music like the raido all sounds

go away from the phone. The only way to here anything is if you connect a headset to the phone.

The fact that notifications don't come from the speaker on the phone is due to the fact that the audio system supports A2DP audio streaming. The stereo is what's passing the play command to the phone on connection. There is no setting you can use on the phone to control this. It would have to be disabled on the stereo.
