I need to restore my iphone 5. Yesterday there was an icloud backup dated 4/1/14. Today I only see a backup with the lost data from 4/4/14. Itunes will not recognize my device, yet it is charging and importing pictures. Any suggestions?

Yesterday my autistic daughter was using my phone, as she often does. Some things got deleted. I went to do a restore and it showed the last backup was 4/1/14. My phone auto synced at 10:51 AM on 4/3/14. I had to leave, and when I came back itunes no longer recognized my phone. Its charging, it can import pictures, but nothing on itunes works. I wanted to do a restore, but now I only see the 10:51 backup, which is after selected items were deleted.

My questions: How can I make Itunes recognize my iphone (running windows 8) How can I find the backup from 4/1/14, as it has the most current information?

Any help would be appreciated.
