When I move my mouse to the corners of my screen, the screen goes black. Sometimes I have to login in again. Other times when I move it away the screen lights up again. Has this happened to anyone?

It sounds like you might have Hot Corners set up when you don't want it. System Preferences / Desktop and Screen saver. Click the hot corners button.

You are invoking the screen saver by moving the mouse into a Hot Corner. Your Mac is operating exactly as specified.
System preferences > Desktop & Screen Saver | Screen Saver| and change the settings to your liking.
