Documents Folder Replaced/Erased in Mavericks
I moved the Documents folder in the Users Home location and apparently my Documents folder with all of its contents was replaced/erased.

Finder > Sidebar > All My Files
Open it. May be those files are still there.
They are not there. The "new" Documents folder has one folder in it, a microsoft folder.
Try using Spotlight to find files and folders > Mac Basics: Spotlight
Thank you. I tried that. They are not there.
The only clue I have is that when I "get info" on the "new" "Documents" folder it says that it was created on March 26, 2014, at about 6:30 p.m., which is when I did something like moved it in the sidebar.
