I have two questions, the first question is can internals iPhone 5s components be easily damaged by the phone being dropped or bumped against something?the second is my touch screen seems off. So how can I check this and possibly fix it?thank you!

This is not an iPhone specific issue. ANY device can be damaged by dropping it.

What do you mean "off"?
In order to get effective and relevant assistance it is necessary to clearly describe the problem occurring.
For the internal component damage I'm asking how easily can these components be damaged. And by the touch screen being off, I will touch underneath a key while typing and it will trigger it, but sometimes when I press directly onto of a key it will not trigger it.
The internal components can be damaged by an impact of 3.2 Gs or greater. Was that helpful? Better yet, don't drop it.
How about screen recalibration?or any way to fix the touch screen?
If you have a 5s you purchased new from Apple, it is still under warranty in the country in which it was purchased. Make an appointment and take your phone in for them to examine.
