Q: Wifi Sync
Hi,
I have multiple routers set up in my home. But I am simply trying to get my main laptop (which has iTunes) to talk to both iPhone and iPad over Wifi.
Laptop is Windows 8 64 (hoping to replace soon to a mac-mini).
On both Apple devices I have enabled "sync ovcer wifi".
The Laptop and devices are setting on the same Wifi network (verified I can see on the router) and I can ping the iPhone and iPad from the laptop (so I can 'see' them), but iTunes still will not show the devices (its almost as if I am missing a protocol).
iPhone IP is 15.241
$ ping -l 4096 192.168.15.241
Pinging 192.168.15.241 with 4096 bytes of data:
Reply from 192.168.15.241: bytes=4096 time=163ms TTL=64
Reply from 192.168.15.241: bytes=4096 time=5ms TTL=64
Reply from 192.168.15.241: bytes=4096 time=5ms TTL=64
Reply from 192.168.15.241: bytes=4096 time=230ms TTL=64
The iPhone sits less than 1" from the router and I have disabled the firewall on the router - nothing works !
Any ideas?
