Wrong Apple ID in App Store Login box, can't delete

Hi there, when I go to update my apps in the App Store, the wrong Apple ID is in the box, and it won't let me highlight it to delete and put my Apple ID in. Please help!

MacBook Pro, OS X Mavericks (10.9.2)

Where did you get the Mac? New or used?

Do you encounter this generally or for a specific app?
