converting word docs to pages without losing objects
trying to convert from word doc and the letterhead settings are removed. anyway to stop this?

Any version of Pages is not a Word clone, and opening a Word doc imposes an imperfect translation process. Are your letterhead settings based on a custom Word template, and/or comprised of graphics?
