Q: Microphone

I am using the latest version of OS X 10.9.2 (13C64) on my Mid 2010 MacPro.

I have a Logitech HD Pro Webcam C920 that works very nicely on my machine.

I use an external analog headset for my audio attached of course to the analog audio in and out on the back of the computer. In the system preferences I have 'Line In' selected for the Sound Input.

When I use Facetime, the person on the other end can see me just fine, but cannot hear me. When I select the Video Menu in Facetime, under the Microphone section there is listed: 'Digital In' and 'HD Pro Webcam C920'. Nothing else. If I select the 'HD Pro Webcam C920' from the menu, the other person can hear me through the webcam mic. So Facetime is working mostly correctly, but it doesn't provide me with an option to select the analog audio in port for the microphone.

Any ideas how to fix this problem?
