How do you rename your photos on an ipad

The Photos app that comes on an iPad does not have the capability of changing the names of photos. There are other apps in the App Store that can be used to display photos and perhaps some of these allows changing names.

I use Photo Manager Pro. It does permit changing the names of photos.

Go to - Photos app > down the right - Albums > top right - Edit > double click on the name (no picture) of the album where you want to change name; Now you are able to wright new name. > Click Done right top.

You can rename photo albums though. Tap edit, tap the name of the album to be changed, type new name, type done.
